This Privacy Policy explains what information Novell Wellness Advantage (“we”, “us”) collects when you visit novellwellnessadvantage.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. If you have a question, email us at hello@novellwellnessadvantage.com.
Information we collect
In short: your email address if you give it to us, and general information about how you use the site (pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location, and the site that referred you). We do not ask for your name, address, payment details or health information.
- Information you give us. If you sign up for our emails or write to us, we receive your email address and anything you choose to include in your message.
- Usage information. Like most websites, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site — for example, which pages are visited, how long people stay, the type of device and browser, the general location (city or country), and the website that referred you. Google Analytics uses cookies to do this. You can read how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
- Where you came from. When you arrive from a social network, search engine or one of our links, we keep a small cookie for up to 30 days that remembers the source (for example “facebook” or “pinterest”). It contains no name or contact details. We use it only to know which channels bring readers to us.
Affiliate links
Some links on this site are affiliate links, including links to products sold through ClickBank. If you click one and buy something, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. When you click such a link, you leave our site, and the seller and ClickBank may collect information under their own privacy policies — including a tracking code that tells them the click came from us and which channel it came from. We never see your payment details or what you buy beyond the commission report.
How we use information
- To run and improve the site and decide what to write next.
- To send emails you asked for. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- To answer your messages.
- To measure which channels and articles are useful to readers.
We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
We share information only with services that help us run the site: our web host, Google Analytics, our email service provider, and the affiliate networks described above. Each handles data under its own privacy policy. We may also disclose information if required by law.
Our social media pages
We publish articles to our own Facebook Page and Pinterest account. If you follow, like or comment on those pages, that activity is handled by Facebook (Meta) or Pinterest under their own privacy policies. The tools we use to post there do not collect information about you.
Tracking by other companies and “Do Not Track”
Google (through Google Analytics) may collect information about your visits to this site over time and may combine it with information from other websites that use its services. When you click an affiliate link, the seller and ClickBank may also collect information about you. We do not allow any other company to collect personal information through our site.
Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. There is no common standard for responding to it, and our site does not currently change its behavior when it receives one. You can still use the choices below.
Cookies and your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work. You can stop Google Analytics from collecting your visits with Google’s opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
How to ask us to delete your data
You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you — including your email address and any information connected to our Facebook Page or app. Email hello@novellwellnessadvantage.com with the subject “Delete my data” and the email address you used with us. We will confirm that we received your request within 10 business days, may ask you to reply from that same email address so we know the request is really from you, and will complete it within 30 days of receiving it. If we ever need more time, we will tell you why. Some information may be kept where the law requires it, and copies already held by other companies (such as Google, Facebook, Pinterest or a seller you bought from) are covered by their own deletion processes.
Security and where data is kept
We use reasonable measures to protect the information we hold, but no website or email service can be guaranteed 100% secure. Our site and the services we use are based in the United States, so information is processed in the United States.
Children
This site is written for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Health information disclaimer
Content on this site is for general education only and is not medical advice. We do not ask for, and you should not send us, personal health information.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will also note it on the site or in our emails.
